PokerSpades Review

PokerSpades is a new Asian mobile platform part of the boom started by PokerMaster in 2017. The gameplay is very similar to any other Asian app: a trusted agent creates your accounts and handles your deposit and cashouts. 

The tables in PokerSpades are played in CNY (Chinese Renminbi), usually 1USD = 6.5CNY. The highest stake currently available in PokerSpades is 50/100, something similar to NL$1500.

PokerSpades is the evolution of PokerCircle and PokerMate, two Asian apps that migrated their games to the PokerSpades platform.

As usual, the peak time in PokerSpades corresponds to the nights in Asia (Europe afternoon) and some decent traffic can be found at medium stakes. Our scouts have seen 3-4 amateur players per table at any stake.

Traffic overview

Currently, there is only one club available in PokerSpades, but this only means the games are underground (even for the Asian world).

Almost all the traffic is concentrated in No Limit Hold'em tables, but some 2/4 CNY tables of Pot Limit Omaha can be seen too.

Heads-Up tables of NLHE are played in 25/50 and 50/100 stakes, usually 1 table per level.

6-max and 9-max tables are available in 10/20, 5/10 and 20/40 CNY, normally 2-4 tables per stake. 

All the games in PokerSpades have ante, equals a small blind; this makes the games even looser and expensive.
