GG Masters: become a GGPoker Network ambassador playing tournaments

From January 5, 2020, a special event called GG Masters will be played every Sunday at 17:00 UTC+0 (morning in America and afternoon in Europe) at GGPoker Network: $250k GTD with a $150 buy-in. A Player of the Year Leaderboard will be run throughout the year, and by the end of 2020 a total of ten players will get different rewards:

Right now, the GGPoker Network team includes:

• Daniel Negreanu (GGPokerOK);
• Brin Kenney (GGPoker)
• Felipe "Mojave" Ramos (GGPoker);
• Kitty Kuo (Natural 8);
• Sergey Rybachenko (GGPokerOK).

All ambassadors have private contracts with the network, and the details are not public, but they all have exclusive avatars at the tables, represent the network at any public event and stream their games on Twitch. The latest addition to the GGPoker Network team was the poker star Daniel Negreanu.

How will POY points be awarded according to the GG Masters results?

The following formula will be used: Leaderboard Point = f * sqrt(Prize pool/k), where "k" is the players' position in the tournament, and "f" is a coefficient that gives extra points for getting better results:

• f=2.0 (1st place)
• f=1.5 (Final table)
• f=1.0 (In the money)
• f=0.5 (Bubble)

What will be the structure of the GG Masters tournaments?

All events will have 10,000 chips (200bb) as the starting stack, and a blind structure of 12 minutes. Tournaments will be freezeout (no re-entry or rebuy), and late registration will be available until the end of level 15 (3 hours).

It's clear that Daniel Negreanu was deeply involved in the development of GG Masters promotion, as he has been involved in many discussions regarding rebuys and re-entries in poker tournaments, mainly saying that this feature ruins the players' experience. Daniel announced the event via Twitter, highlighting that no-entries would be available.

Which satellites will give tickets to GG Masters events?

Throughout the week, ten satellites will be held every day with a $15 buy-in and 3 to 20 tickets guaranteed and different structures. Step satellites will also be available from $1,5.
