Types of Spin & Go at Pokerstars

There are several Spin&Go formats at PokerStars. Texas Hold'em tournaments (11 buy-ins from $0.25 to $1,000) and Omaha (5 stakes from $1 to $15) are available to players.
In turn, NLH spins are divided into:

  • Classic: starting stack of 500 chips, the blinds raise from 2 to 5 minutes.
  • Flash: starting stack of 300 chips, the blind growth rate is 1 minute.
  • Spin and Go Max: tournaments with a random number of players from 3 to 8, the winner can randomly choose one of the prizes offered and mandatory auto all-ins after 20 hands played.

Let's analyze the features of the most popular – classic Hold'em Spins.

Spin and Go Rake

The higher the buy-ins, the lower the fees charged:

  • $0,25-$5 – 8%.
  • $10 – 7%.
  • $25-$50 – 6%.
  • $100-$1,000 – 5%.

What is Spin&Go Max

Spin and Go Max can only be played on PokerStars. The main difference from the “classic”:

  • There are seven buy-ins from $1 to $100. The number of participants is determined randomly from 3 to 8 players.
  • Before the start of the tournament, three potential prizes are also randomly determined. When the tournament ends, the winner chooses one of them.
  • If one of the prizes has a maximum multiplier, the winner is guaranteed to receive it.

Gameplay

In normal mode, Spin&Go Max runs for some fixed hands, which depends on the buy-in and the number of participants. After the hand counter reaches zero, all players go auto-all-in until the winner is determined.

Updating the poker client and reducing the variance in spins is undoubtedly good news. Although, it must be noted that only those spin regs that need massive traffic are still playing at PokerStars.

All the rest moved to other networks a long time ago having good results, and also, a decent rakeback deal has a positive impact in variance. To get more details about our deals at poker networks with spins, please contact our team.
